Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs)
and Research University Consortium for the Advancement of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (RUCASTL)
The Faculty Learning Communities (FLC) initiative at MSU, launched in Spring semester 2005, is a campus-wide program designed to bring together small groups of faculty for ongoing, interdisciplinary conversations on teaching and learning topics.

The FLC initiative grew out of MSU’s participation in the Research University Consortium for the Advancement of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (RUCASTL).
