The Faculty Learning Communities (FLC) initiative at MSU, launched in Spring semester 2005, is a campus-wide program designed to bring together small groups of faculty for ongoing, interdisciplinary conversations on teaching and learning topics.

To learn more about this program, and the current FLCs, please visit the FLC page

The FLC initiative grew out of MSU’s participation in the Research University Consortium for the Advancement of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (RUCASTL).
